Tea for relaxation, revitalization of spirit and mind.
Ayurveda is the oldest science of natural laws of life; the word itself means “science of life.” It originates from India, with its beginnings dating back around 5,000 years.
It views the human body as a whole, as a coexistence of physical, mental and spiritual energy. Health problems arise due to imbalance on one or more levels, which need to be balanced to restore health.
The characteristic of Ayurveda is that it works quickly and not only eliminates symptoms, but by respecting natural laws, it stimulates the body’s self-healing abilities and eradicates health problems at their very source. Treatment with Ayurveda thus takes longer, but allows the restored balance, that is health, to be permanent.
Since Ayurvedic teas consist mainly of spices (roots, seeds, bark), they develop their beneficial effects only when we brew them for some time. Moreover, the ingredients are released slowly and gradually even during brewing, so the same tea can be used two or three times.
Ayurveda classic is slightly spicy due to its high ginger content, while the addition of cinnamon and cloves reminds of the taste of mulled wine during Christmas time. It’s suitable for drinking after a heavy meal or as a warming tea during colder months.
The healing effects of true teas and herbs have been known in traditional medicine for millennia. Unfortunately, the European Parliament has adopted regulation (EC) No. 1924/2006, which prohibits health claims on food products, so we leave it to each individual to obtain information about the healing effects of Ayurveda tea.
